Welcome to Little Egypt Corvette Club. The purpose of the club is to encourage enjoyment of the Corvette. We have been meeting since 1990. In 1992 we incorporated as a 501 c corporation and a member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs. Our activities include drive-outs, participation in car shows and parades, business meetings, social events, and NCCC sanctioned competition events. We have members from a five-county area around Centralia. We annually collect toys or needed items for PAVE, BCMW, or the Salvation Army around the holidays.
The six elected officers are the board of directors. The board has authority to operate the club. Most decisions are made by a vote of the full membership.
Dues for the club are:
Single member $15.00
The club year runs from January 1, to December 31. Dues are due at or before the first meeting in January. If a member joins after September 1, his/her/their dues will pay for the remainder of that year plus the following year. Renewal notice will be sent out the first week of December.
Dues for NCCC are:
Renewal Primary $25.00
NCCC dues are in addition to the LECC dues. They are also collected for the calendar year. NCCC dues are collected by the club governor and sent to the regional membership director on or before November 15.
Club meetings are normally held on the first Sunday of the month. The annual meeting of the club is the first meeting in January. It is also the planning meeting. The calendar of events is established at the planning meeting with adjustments made as needed during the year. The board of directors will meet on the Monday prior to the regular meeting at a place and time determined by the board.
Election of officers takes place at the November meeting. Nominations are taken at the October meeting. The term of office begins in January. In odd numbered years, the President, Secretary, and Officer-at-Large will be elected. In even numbered years, the Vice-President, Treasurer, and Governor will be elected. The term of office is two years.Proxy forms are available from the Secretary for any meeting. The proxy form will assign your vote to the President of the club.
